AGT Series (Two-Stage) Gas Boosters
AGT Series two-stage gas boosters provide efficient means of boosting to a high gas compression ratio since he ratio per stage is low.
Maximum outlet pressure = drive area ratio X air drive pressure + gas supply pressure X the area ratio of the two gas pistons.
General Specifications:
- Min Air Drive Pressure: 20 psig
- Max Air Drive Pressure: 150 psig (except AGD-1.5 = 130 psig
- Max Cycling Speed: 60 cycles / minute
Connections:
- Air inlet: 1/2″ FNPT
- Gas inlet: 3/8″ FNPT, 3/8″ SAE or 1/4″ HP (depending on model)
- Gas outlet: 3/8″ FNPT to 1/2″ FNPT, 3/8″ SAE or 1/4″ HP (depending on model)

Static Outlet Stall Pressure
Notes:
- Supply pressure also limited by factor X air drive (Pa) to avoid interstage stall.
- If outlet pressure exceeds Maximum 1st Stage pressure and supply pressure simultaneously exceeds pressure limit above the line, install interstage relief valve set at this pressure.
The gas boosters listed above are designed for inert gases. For Hydrogen or Oxygen applications, or for complete systems, see the chart below:
