- Resetting valve: Equalize the pressure across the poppet. The poppet will drop and reset automatically.
- Installation: Since this type of check valve employs a non-spring loaded poppet, the valve MUST be installed in a VERTICAL position with the arrow on the valve body pointing UP.
- Repair Kit: Excess flow valves are easily repaired. Add “R” to front of valve part number for corresponding repair kit.
CAUTION: While testing has shown o-rings to provide satisfactory service life, both cyclic and shelf life vary widely with differing service conditions, properties of reactants, pressure and temperature cycling and the age of the o-ring. FREQUENT INSPECTIONS SHOULD BE MADE to detect any deterioration and o-rings should be replaced as required.
