General Purpose Air, Water and Light Oil Valve
Features:
- Pressures to 250 psig (17 bar)
- Fluid temperatures from −65F to +180F
- Pipe sizes from 1/4˝ through 1-1/2˝
- Full ported valves: Cv from 1.4 to 21.0
- Pilot operated: requires a minimum pressure differential of 5 psig
- Bronze & brass valve materials
- Buna-N pilot seat, piston seat, and body o-ring seals
- Class B and class H coils are available
- Coil housing – NEMA 1
- Treated 416 stainless steel plunger material for increased corrosion resistance

- Description: 2-Way/Normally-Closed Pilot-Operated Solenoid Valve, constructed in Bronze with a Buna-N seat, pilot and seal, rated up to 250 psig
- Configuration: 2-Way/Normally-Closed
- Electrical Connection: 1/2″ NPT conduit with 36″ pigtail leads
- Pressure Rating: 250 psig
- Operating Pressures:
- Gas: 5-250 psig (with AC coil) OR 5-150 psig (with DC coil)
- Water: 5-150 psig (with AC coil) OR 5-100 psig (with DC coil)
- Light Oil: 5-75 psig (with AC coil) OR 5-50 psig (with DC coil)
- Body Material: Bronze
- Seal Material: Buna-N
- Seat Material: Buna-N
Notes:
- Unless otherwise noted, all Atkomatic solenoid valves are designed for installation in a horizontal pipeline with the coil oriented vertically over the pipe center line.
- It is important to locate filters immediately upstream of the valves (with a maximum micron rating of 40 microns) to prevent contamination in the system from causing functional problems with the valves.
- The 2″ version (JJ900) of this valve is no longer available.
- Some of the coil voltage options are only available in Class H coils. If you select Class B for the Coil Class option and receive the “Sorry, no products matched your selection. Please choose a different combination.” note, change the Coil Class to Class H instead.
